Lockwood Beekeeping Supplies started by Sam Lockwood, kicked off in 2012. We are a family run, and proud Australian company. Starting out, we supplied timber hive ware for our own beekeeping operation, as well as the local hobby market. Fortunately, business quickly grew with the timber side of the business, and now we supply commercial and hobby beekeeping our quality gear right across Australia.

Lockwood Beekeeping Supplies signed up to be a Mann Lake dealer for NSW, which is one of the worlds largest beekeeping supply companies. Mann Lake offers a large variety of beekeeping products, which can be sourced through us being Australia’s exclusive agent for these products.

Lockwood Beekeeping Supplies are also the sole Australian importer for Ultra Bee feed. Ultra Bee has been in action in Australia for over 7 years. It is showing to be one of the best protein supplements on the market, backed up with with scientific studies showing this. With Varroa now around, it is now more important than ever to start thinking about hive health and nutrition.

Lockwood Beekeeping Supplies are now the distributors for 3 of the world’s best Varroa treatments. Apivar, Bayvarol and Formic Pro. As we are beekeepers ourselves, we know the daunting process ahead for our industry. We are continually learning ourselves, but we are here to help. If our industry can work, and learn together, we will be a long way in front.

What’s next …

Lockwood Beekeeping Supplies are working on bringing together an ultimate bee booster patty. Incorporating Ultra Bee, Agrisea and irradiated Australian pollen. We will be rolling out something in the very near future. We have updated our website (www.lockwoodbeekeepingsupplies.com), and will be adding an online store very soon. Also, give our Facebook page LBS Supplies a “like”, and keep up to date with what we are up to.
